Our Mission: Is to uplift and support those in need, through critical relief programs that address hunger, homelessness, and recovery in times of crisis.Your generous donation can help Inter-Faith Charities International continue providing life-changing support to vulnerable communities, especially during emergencies like the recent devastating fires in Los Angeles.
During COVID: Our community provided over 5 Millions meals per day. It all started with a call from a Mayor of a major city to provide 25 Thousands meals per day, followed by another call from another west coast Mayor for 30 Thousands meals to start with. Then, it kept growing fast to over 5 Millions Meals per day till the end of Covid.Since then, besides other projects, our community has been very active with Los Angeles fire victims. Besides food, providing life's necessities like blankets, clothing, hygiene necessities, diapers etc. etc.

Provide Emergency Disaster Relief: Our community delivers hot, nutritious meals, clean water, and essential supplies to families and individuals affected by disasters like fires, floods, and hurricanes etc. etc.
Feed the Hungry Through Mobile Feeding Units: Inspired by the tradition of Langar, we are starting Mobile Feeding Units to travel to disaster zones fast.
And to help underserved neighborhoods, plus college and university campuses ( to instill the spirit of selfless giving, in our future generation students, instead of the current Me, Me, Me culture) - provide fresh, healthy meals to those in need.
Offer Shelter and Support: Another project of Inter-Faith Charities International is to provide safe havens for abused women & children, offering not just shelter, but also counseling and resources to rebuild their lives. We believe Women & Children should grow-up and lead stress free lives without any trauma in their life.
Why Now? The recent destruction caused by fires in Los Angeles have left countless families and businesses without their homes, food, or hope.
This is an urgent Call-To-Action.

Our Efforts
To bring diverse communities (separated by religion, race, culture, color of their skin etc.) together - on a Global basis. We will do it neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city, state by state, country by country. Where people get to know each other, share and understand each others culture, beliefs, faith, share food and value system etc. Then, build Inter-Faith teams to help each other in time of need and crises - this will be done neighborhoods by neighborhood.

We want to create awareness that life is better when we all rise higher beyond our cultural, religious and petty differences.
We hope this annual march effort will start a positive conversation globally and bring about change for the better....
End Hunger with LANGAR
'LANGAR' is a proven concept for centuries.
This is community kitchen concept where everyone volunteers for food preparation and all food is by donations only.
Everyone is invited to join in WITHOUT any consideration of religion, cast, creed or identity.
This concept was started by Guru Nanak Sahib who is the founder of Sikhism.
Sikh Gurudwaras/temples pioneered this concept and has been going on in their Gurudwaras for centuries.
This tradition was showcased during COVID where they were serving millions of free meals globally for free and it is still going on....
You might have heard about this in the news.
Our effort is to "End Hunger With LANGAR' globally using this concept. Get involved.....
